The Pink Paper, by Mothers’ Manifesto, is a policy report on UK and global food insecurity. It exposes the scale of child hunger, examines systemic causes, and proposes practical policy solutions.
Our domestic demands are designed to ensure that children in this country have a healthy start in life and the essentials needed to thrive as well as the building of a resilient and just food system.
OUR UK DEMANDS:
Essentials Guarantee on UC
Nutritional free school meals
A just and resilient food system
Tax reform to fund change.
Our global policies call on the UK Government to lead by example when it comes to tackling global food insecurity. This means keeping our commitments on climate, restoring the UKs aid commitments and canceling the crippling debt of the financially poorest nations.
OUR GLOBAL DEMANDS:
Ambitious climate action
Reversing of aid cuts
Debt relief and applying sanctions where food is weaponized
Together let’s make a world where no child goes hungry.
