Now entering our fourth year of action, we will once again be carrying out regional Mothers’ Hunger Strikes across the UK. These local strikes will see mothers taking part in their own communities, raising awareness and calling for the urgent change our families need.
Following these regional actions, mothers who are able will continue the strike with a further five days outside Parliament—bringing our demands directly to the Government and standing together in determined, peaceful protest.
Thanks to our incredible recent fundraiser, we now have the means to support any mothers or supporters who wish to join our campaign—whether in London or within their local area. The five-day hunger strike at Parliament is optional, and mothers are welcome to join for any length of time.
Alongside mothers choosing to strike, we are also looking for volunteers to help with logistics and media support. We would love to hear from you.
Join us and make your voice heard in a safe, compassionate action led by mothers standing together in solidarity.
Throughout our hunger strikes we have been making a huge collection of hand made hearts. We take this collection of hearts with us on our actions and into Parliament. These hearts have our children’s names along with the names of children from across the globe. We have hearts for children that we know from all over the world, from the UK to Gaza, Africa and Australia.
They are a representation of children now and into the future, and we carry them close with us throughout everything we do, to represent their voices and lives.
We want to show the compassion and connection that drives us to fight for the lives of every child. These hand stitched hearts are easy to make and allow us to each take a moment to think of a child close to our hearts.
CREATE A HEART AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE CAMPAIGN
The regional strikes and week long Mothers Hunger Strike in 2025 were incredible; we're so grateful for all the people who came along to be with us on the streets. Thank you to the people, families, MPs and organisations that showed their love and support for us. We're more engaged than ever to call our government to action on food insecurity.
